SetupBay for Claude Code
Every loadout with skills, subagents or MCP servers is also a Claude Code plugin. Add the marketplace once, then install plugins from /plugin or by name.
Install
In a Claude Code session:
/plugin marketplace add https://setupbay.com/marketplace.json /plugin install hooks-guardrails@setupbay
From your shell, the same commands work as claude plugin marketplace add https://setupbay.com/marketplace.json and claude plugin install hooks-guardrails@setupbay. Browse the full list in the /plugin Discover tab after adding the marketplace.
The marketplace is a single marketplace.json file, so you don't need git or a GitHub account. Each plugin downloads as a zip from setupbay.com, and Claude Code refuses the download if its sha256 doesn't match the one in the catalogue. Zip plugin sources need Claude Code v2.1.224 or later.
What a plugin doesn't include
Plugins carry skills, subagents, hooks and MCP servers. They can't carry project rules, so a loadout's AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md and Cursor rules still install from its page, with the curl commands or the zip. Each plugin's description links to its loadout.
Plugins whose MCP server needs your own value, such as a Supabase project ref, ask for it when you enable them (or run /plugin configure). MCP servers in a plugin start when the plugin is enabled, so disable a plugin you aren't using.
Names: plugins use the loadout id, except that ids starting with claude-code- drop that prefix, because Claude Code reserves plugin names that start with claude-.

For Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Antigravity CLI and Copilot, use the per-agent install on each loadout page. Agents can also connect to the SetupBay MCP server.
