Two FastAPI loadouts. The first is the service baseline: uv, Pydantic v2 models, Annotated dependencies, typed response models, async only where something is awaited, lifespan for startup, and tests through the app. The second adds a database: async SQLAlchemy 2.1 sessions per request, Alembic migrations, eager loading chosen per endpoint, and tests that fail when a list endpoint starts issuing one query per row.
